Regarding Physical Books

Note: This Return Policy concerns only items purchased directly through our website i.e. from Our Little Shop. For returns concerning products purchased directly through Amazon, proceed to Your Orders and follow the return procedures detailed therein.

Concerning Cancellation of an Order

We have a 3-days-from-time-of-order, no questions asked order cancellation policy. If, for example, you placed an order in error, you have 72 hours from the time you completed purchase to notify us of your desire to cancel your order. (This includes partial orders: If, for example, you placed an unwanted item in your cart with items you wish to keep, you are still eligible to cancel just the item(s) you do not wish to receive and the rest of your order will proceed as intended.)

For orders or items you wish to cancel that were already fulfilled by Little Crab Educational Press and printed and shipped by Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) during this 72 hour window, your order will still arrive at your shipping address. In these cases Little Crab Educational Press will issue you a paid return shipping label and a full refund will be issued to you upon verification of tracking information for your return.

To request cancellation of all or part of your order contact us at hello@littlecrabpress.ca within 72 hours of order completion. In the event that you fail to cancel your order within the 72 hour window, you are welcome to gift or donate your items, but resale is strictly prohibited per our Terms of Service.

Concerning Products Perceived as Damaged/Defective

As detailed in the Little Crab Educational Press website FAQ and the "Availability" note at the bottom of every page, we fulfill orders of Physical Books through on-demand printing services provided by Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). As such, we adhere to the KDP policies for what constitutes "expected variance" as well as what falls outside of those expected variances in order to assess the need for a return or refund of a book/books printed with any level of defects. The following is a series of screenshots detailing what constitutes an "expected variance" in the KDP policies:

This means: If you believe the book(s) you received contain defects that fall outside of the "expected various" parameters listed above, you will need to submit a written description of the defect(s) as well as digital images (in .png, .jpg, or .gif format) of the defect(s) to us. Please also include the information listed in the final screenshot above. Upon receipt Little Crab Educational Press will proceed with KDP's assessment process and provide you with an update you as soon as we have received feedback from KDP. Providing all required details to us at the time of your submission will expedite the process of having KDP assess and respond to your concern.

This information should be submitted to hello@littlecrabpress.ca with the subject line "Book Defects" within 10 business days of receipt of your order.

Concerning Delayed, Undelivered, or Incorrectly Delivered Products

If more than three (3) days have lapsed since the most recently provided expected delivery date and you have still not received your Product(s), you are entitled to proceed with a refund process. Please contact us at hello@littlecrabpress.ca within 10 business days of this threshold being passed to inform us of this issue.

If package tracking indicates your Product(s) delivery was completed but you have not received your Product(s), you are entitled to proceed with a refund process. Please contact us at hello@littlecrabpress.ca within 10 business days of this threshold being passed to inform us of this issue.

If the Product(s) you received is not what you ordered, you are entitled to proceed with a return or refund process. Please contact us at hello@littlecrabpress.ca to inform us of this issue.

Concerning a Change of Mind Regarding Your Purchase

Little Crab Educational Press strives to always be exceedingly clear in our Shop listings in order to set expectations for customers regarding all of our products. As such, it is assumed that you have made a purchase only after a detailed review of all the readily accessible information we provide; we do not offer Change of Mind refunds.

Regarding Digital Products

Concerning Cancellation of an Order or Change of Mind

As Digital Products (a.k.a. Digital Downloads a.k.a. Printables) are delivered to your inbox immediately upon purchase, there is no recourse for cancellation of a Digital Product order for any reason: All Digital Product sales are final.

Concerning Returns and Refunds

As expectations for content of each of our Digital Products (a.k.a. Digital Downloads a.k.a. Printables) are made exceedingly clear in our Shop listings, we do not issue refunds for Digital Products: All Digital Product sales are final.
